The Chuckers
When l was 5 years old l started making little 3” plasticine soldiers because the 2” plastic / metal figures they had in the store weren’t colorful or big enough and they couldn’t change position. So l made my own and staged huge battles with 1000s of my plasticine soldiers on my bedroom floor and took photographs to capture the scenes.
The plasticine YouTube sculptures (dolls) are in part a throw back to my early years. But these are stylized 12” plasticine sculptures of male and female World Record javelin throwers that have YouTube videos of their best throws online.
