The idea behind the Olympic Selfie project is to create images and activities that somehow incorporate the Olympic Games, Olympic Day, Olympians, Olympic fans and/ or people involved in the Olympic movement from administrators to coaches.
The cultural phenomenon of the “Selfie” can be viewed as a somewhat negative self indulgent activity. “Olympic Selfie” on the other hand is a positive celebratory project and activity aimed at promoting the Olympic Games, Olympic athletes, the Olympic family, Olympic values and Olympic fans.
